Saathiya stars Rani Mukherjee, Vivek Oberoi, and Sandhya Mridul.#

The story and style of this movie are top knotch. There is a bit of a love story in the beginning that, as one IMDB reviewer puts it, has "soft realistic tone" that helps set the movie apart from most other Bollywood movies. The interaction between the characters is interesting and it is difficult to know for sure what will happen next.#

As far as the music and songs go, I thought the movie was less than excellent. Certainly the songs themselves were very good musically, but they seemed to be poorly placed in the movie. Furthermore, due to the general saddness of how they were used, there is very little dancing, which is something that I always look at when I watch a Hindi musical.#

Recommendation: Medium to High.#
