Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai stars Hrithik Roshan and Amisha Patel.#

I thought the movie was very enjoyable -- cute story, nice scenery, decent songs, and quality recording. My only problem was the DVD I got did not have subtitles, so while I understand the plot and what-not, I didn't get the full flavor of why jokes were funny and how romantic the lines were.#

Amisha Patel is a new face for me. Her IMDB biography is interesting:#

She was a Biogenetic Engineer graduate in a university in the United States and won a gold medal for her Economics paper. Before she entered films, she worked in banks. Her family is good friends with the Roshans. It was at dinner in the Roshan's house that Rakesh Roshan, father of Hrithik Roshan offered her a starring role in his film, Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai (2000) with his son. Because of the mega hit of the film, she became the hottest actress in town overnight. She denied the rumours of Hrithik Roshan gaining more recognisition than her after the success of Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai (2000) and explained that the rumours did not affect her relationship with the Roshans.

Recommendation: Try it out, with the subtitles if you can.#
